How do you change date setting? From 2560 to 2017?

Yes there is but not where you think it is.

Tap Settings (Gears icon) on Home screen

then tap General

then tap on the right panel > Language & Region

then tap Calendar

then from the 3 choices, select Gregorian

Settings>General>Language & Region>Calendar>Gregorian

i think the problem is Google - if the “Region for search results” (set in settings>search settings at the bottom of a google search window) is set to “Current Region” then Google will display the calendar date regardless of your iOS settings.

Unfortunately the only way to change this is by setting the “Region for search results” to a country with Gregorian calendar - o.c. one would not get specific results for the current region then...

Check: Settings - Language and Region - Calendar = Gregorian.

You are not looking in the correct location. You are looking at settings for Calendar. You need to go into Settings, and then the General area as I indicated in my earlier response. Try posting a screenshot of where you are looking in Settings that is showing the information you provided.

It didn’t work for me. Calendar setting is Gregorian. Device was restarted a few times. It still shows the year I don’t understand. Anything else I need to change to make it work?
