I've successfully paired (and connected) the airpods to my windows 10 system. For some reason, once they are connected, a playback and recording device isn't added... therefore I can't seem to route the sound and mic through the airpods. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

I know this is quite late, but in case anyone else had this problem, I did too. I installed it the first two times and it appeared as in the included picture (note the AirPods appear twice, as a headset and headphones). The third time it actually appeared AND played music, as opposed to pretending to play music. So, I guess try, try and try again. I never have been a fan of the Windows 10 Pairing system.
