iPhone 5c dead after screen replacement.

Okay, so my friend gave me her iPhone 5c to fix since I had perfectly fixed an iPhone 5s screen before. But I am having a very frustrating problem, after replacing the screen, the iPhone 5c does not turn on nor does it vibrate when I move the vibrator switch. Also, whenever I try to activate Siri, nothing happens, it does not even make noise when i plug into my computer or power brick. However, when I plug it into iTunes, it recognizes it and it's apparently turned on and working, the phone gets hot as normal. The screen just won't turn on, the old shattered screen did turn on, except it had white vertical lines, after replacing the screen, it doesn't turn on at all. iTunes recognizes it, but I can't respond on the iPhone to let iTunes recognize it. So I am not able to try and mirror the screen to Quicktime, I can't respond on the iPhone because the screen is dead. Please somebody help me, it is making me very worried because i ordered the good screen on Amazon, it had good reviews and was expensive. My friend had already payed me and I really do not want to go through the struggle of returning it back ad getting my friend her money back, please help. I would really appreciate it!

There are literally dozens of reasons the screen will not work, starting with it being a bad screen to start with all the way to it was installed incorrectly.

Without being judgmental, screen repair should be left to folks with the technical ability to do the work and to properly troubleshoot it if the installation does not go well. I'd recommend you contact an Apple Authorized Service Provider for assistance.

i followed the same steps I did when i fixed an iPhone 5s, it had all worked perfectly. I followed a video for the iPhone 5c with the same uploader and the same screen company and it just won't turn on for some reason, the old screen wouldn't turn on either.

Hi

Your friend would have been best advised to have the screen repaired by Apple or an Apple Authorised Service Provider via chargeable repair service.

As you attempted to repair the screen yourself, the iPhone may no longer be eligible for any future service from Apple.
