Pushing on the corners of the iPhone 7 Plus screen makes clicking/cracking noises. What is the problem?

Apple Store employees have no idea what the problem is. Anywhere you click on the corners of the screen there is a clicking/cracking noise that platic flip phones make. First phone did it, I returned it. My second one does the same thing. It drives me nuts.

Reading all sorts of different forums, only those with a matte black or jet black have this problem. I'm starting to doubt that it's the rubber gaskets that are failing to waterproof the phone which make the clicking noises. No other iPhone I've had does this.

Apple has not acknowledged this issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have a silver iphone 7 plus and the same issue mentioned persists , i can hear clicking sound around the corner of my phone.

as said above , the service center professionals should be aware of this issue and should be given the necessary actions that are to be done upon receipt of such complaint.

They simply said to me that these kind of noises are common and they haven't recorder any complaint on this. !

I can't tolerate that they are compromising the quality standard of iPhone to eliminate the Service job............pathetic !!
