how do you have two player on lego star wars with two keyboards?

I have two keyboards for my Mac and the game on disc. But when I hook up my two keyboards (one is wireless and the other has a cord) they both end up controlling player 1. How do I change this? I looked in control settings but it still doesn't work no matter what I try. Thanks

Hmmm...lemme see if I can help you, mossvatt23. We have a real wretched hive of scum and villany here,. don't we...

Apparently, you press F2 on your keyboard (for player one) until the character icon on the top right of the screen flashes a few times to let you know that a second player has joined the game. enter on the number pad will pause the game and let you 'drop out' someone... there may also be a button to change characters... apparently, you can try this:

pause the game, go to options, then choose control setup, then highlight right side of the screen under Player 2 and choose "Change Device", press any key on the keyboard, then click on "Accept" and player 2's keyboard controls should be good to go. choose back and then resume to return to the game,.,...

well, I gave it a try...guess the Force wasn't as strong with me as I thought....

In general, allowing two players as you describe requires two computers.

MacOS is not a Time-Sharing system. It allows multiple users to have accounts, but does not support foreground activity for two different users.

If a game developer decided they wanted to craft that solution bad enough, they may be able to make it work as you describe, but it is not inherently that way.

Hi JB,

Thanks for your reply but sadly I have already tried this a couple times and it hasn't changed anything. I easily could be doing it wrong, especially the part where you say you highlight the one side. But yesterday I got another wireless keyboard so I'll try what you say again in a few different ways to see if I can get it. Let me know if you find anything else that might be helpful.
