How do I remove wax splattered all over my laptop?

Can anyone suggest how I can remove wax that was splattered all over my laptop?

I scrapped off some, then used hot water to remove some more, but there is still residue left on the aluminum. It's also on the screen so I'm not sure what chemicals would be safe to use to remove the remaining residue. Goo Gone [www.amazon.com] perhaps?

I wouldn't scrape it off, you may damage the casing of your MBP.

You need something which will liquify the wax and absorb the wax at the same time, without overheating your MBP.

You could try putting kitchen / paper towels over the wax and heating through the paper towel with a hair dryer on a lowish heat. The paper should absorb the wax from the casing, but do be careful with the amount of heat you apply to the wax.
