Hermes bands

Hi. I wanted to get a the blue leather Hermes 42mm band for $399 (http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MNHW2AM/A/apple-watch-herms-42mm-bleu-agate-ep som-leather-single-tour) and but a series 2 42mm watch separately (http://www.apple.com/shop/buy-watch/apple-watch/silver-stainless-steel-stainless -steel-sport-band?preSelect=false&product=MNPR2LL/A&step=detail#) for $599. Altogether that's $998. I'm gobsmacked cause the cheapest Hermes you can get is $1199 that's a $201 difference. My question is, will this work? Is it gonna fit? Why is there a big price difference from buying just the package versus buying it separately? Thanks.

Hi

That Hermès band will certainly fit that watch model (any Apple Watch band will fit any Apple Watch of the same case size).

Note that the Hermès watch faces (a software feature) are exclusive to the Apple Watch Hermès watch models. It is not possible to install them on a different Series 2 model, such as the one that you are considering purchasing.

When purchasing a new Apple Watch Hermès watch model, an Hermès Orange Sport Band is also included along with the leather band. The Sport Band is not included with Hermès bands that are purchased as separate accessories.
