Only Apple can tell you specifically what your repair options are, so take it in to them. But, accidental damage is not a warranty issue, so normally you will have to pay out of warranty fees. If you have AppleCare+ you can use one of your accidental damage claims to further reduce the fees.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects or defects in assembly, as does any warranty. Insurance covers accidental damage, theft, and so forth. A warranty is not insurance.

Your car's warranty doesn't do a thing for if you crash into a tree (unless you can prove that the crash was somehow caused by a defect in the car itself, or a part used in the production of car). Similarly, an iPhone warranty offers nothing if you break your iPhone.

P.S. Does otterbox offer any insurance if using their case? Check their web site or whatever documents came with the case to see if they do, and what the limits of coverage would be.
