Keep in mind I removed the optical drive to add the second ssd. I don't care if I use boot camp I only need the two OS's one for drive!

Thanks!!

To install Windows on a Mac you need Boot Camp, because it provides the necessary hooks to work with the Mac boot firmware.

It being an SSD should not really matter, as it will still look like a disk. If it is not working, it is possible that Mavericks does not support the version of Windows you are trying to install.

But that is the extent of my knowledge of installing Windows on a Mac.

You should explain what you are seeing when you try to install Windows, and hopefully someone else will be able to help you.

Create a Windows Installer on a USB2 flash drive using the first two options of BC Assistant (Create... and Download...). Create a FAT32 partition on the designated disk using Disk Utility.

Remove the disk that will not participate in Windows installation from the Mac (disconnecting the SATA cable will work). Put the designated Windows disk in the Main bay. It cannot move to the other disk bay, once Windows is installed, otherwise Windows will behave unpredictably with crashes and BSoDs.

Once this configuration is in place, shutdown your Mac, boot from the USB using Alt/Option and install Windows on the FAT32 partition you just created.
