LG Ultrafine 4K Windows 10 Bootcamp

Has anybody successfully connected a LG 4k ultrafine display to a late 2016 15" MacBook Pro and gotten the display brightness to work at all and the speakers to work correctly in Windows 10 using Bootcamp? I can't control the display brightness at all inside the display settings. I can control the laptops display brightness just fine. When I change the volume it get's too loud very quickly. I'm afraid if I accidentally have the volume too high I will blow out the speakers of the monitor in Windows 10. I have the latest Bootcamp drivers installed (6.1), but that didn't seem to change anything.

Does anybody have the LG Ultrafine 4k display working correctly in Boot Camp on their late 2016 MacBook Pro?

Hi, I checked the installed drivers and do appear to have the latest one. Thanks for the input. The speakers of the LG Ultrafine 4K sound fine until I reach about the 75% and then they get a worrying sort of crackle sound.

Regarding the display, I've attached a screenshot of what my display settings look like. I can change the brightness of the laptop display, but the brightness slider on the LG Ultrafine 4K is grayed out.

I don't see any way to control the brightness from inside the AMD control panel. I can control the color temperature of the display and that does work correctly. Here are some screenshots, which will hopefully be helpful. I didn't see anywhere to adjust the display brightness under the radeon additional settings either.

Any idea on why the speakers on the display get very loud at a very low level? Somewhere around 10 - 15 they are much louder than I would expect and it only goes up from there. I'm afraid of even trying it at 100 because I don't know if they could handle it. Thanks very much for your help so far!

So I have just stumbled upon a setting in the Boot Camp Control Panel that allows me to adjust the brightness of the LG Ultrafine 4k Display. Finally seemed to get it figured out! So at least for now that is one problem that is fixed. I recall that maybe before I updated to the latest Boot Camp drivers that display brightness slider would adjust the brightness of the laptops screen.

Now to figure out why the speakers get so loud.

I do have the latest Boot Camp 6.1 drivers installed. In fact, last night I went ahead and downloaded the drivers to a flash drive and did a repair using Apples support documentation (If you don't see some Mac features when using Windows on your Mac - Apple Support). Unfortunately this didn't seem to make a difference. I do have Parallels installed on my Mac and have been using it to run the Boot Camp partition as a virtual machine. Is it possible that could have screwed something up (http://download.parallels.com/desktop/v6/docs/en/Parallels_Desktop_Users_Guide/2 3112.htm). I can't imagine that would have done anything, but you never know. I will boot back over to Windows 10 and look around the device manager to see if there are any other issues like the ambient light sensor.

Is it possible there are no drivers for the ambient light sensor in Windows (http://imgur.com/a/qDvRx)?

I have the ability from within system preferences and using the touchbar to control the brightness when booted into Sierra 10.12.2. I'm at work at the moment so don't have the ability to take a screenshot with my the Ultrafine 4k display attached, but I will post that when I get home. I do believe that I have the AMD control panel installed on windows though. You're referring to having it installed under Windows, correct? If I right click the desktop there is an option for Radeon AMD settings.

I actually pulled that imgr link from a Reddit thread where they were discussing using the LG Ultrafine displays with a windows computer :P (https://www.reddit.com/r/apple/comments/5fan7e/lg_ultrafine_4k_compatible_with_w indows_10_on_a_pc/?st=ixvsusjw&sh=597da54a#bottom-comments). I should've linked to that thread in my last post. Maybe I'll find an excuse to post a shot of my desk :p.

I'm back at work , but once I connect back up to my display I'll look for those identifiers.
