Can't play some video Podcasts

Can't play some video Podcasts

I've got the new 80GB video model. When I try to download certain podcasts (Weird America for example) I can download it fine but iTunes won't sync it to my iPod because it says that the video can't run on my iPod. How can I tell which podcasts will run on which devices (I thought that my model would play just about everything)?

No answer for you here Mike, just to let you know I have exactly the same problem. I can watch the video from the itunes interface on my pc but I only get a still picture icon when playing the podcast.

Mike, I appear to have solved my issue so this may be of some help. On your iPod; from the main menu select, videos/video settings and switch the TV OUT button to OFF.
This worked for me.

I also couldn't get Weird America downloaded to my Ipod (80GB) until I went into Podcast, right clicked on the video and selected Convert Selection for Ipod. Some videos are not optimized for our Ipod. It may take a few minutes or longer. When finished, you can update the video to the Ipod. You'll find it by going to Video, Video playlist and recently added. It will play as a video from there. Hope this helps. It's the only thing that helped me & I tried everything! 🙂

Yeah i have been having trouble with this also.. you may also find the Podcast under Video < Movies because it will not always stay under Recently Added I Hope This will help you...
