how to stop iPhone from ringing through laptop

Hi, Since some recent OS upgrade, likely since moving to OS Sierra, when my iPhone rings, my computer rings as well. Just not interested in having all my devices connected to all other devices. I love all the new technology but I also have an "old school" side that says, have some limits. I don't need or want my computer to ring at me to tell me my phone is ringing.

How do I turn this feature off so only my iPhone rings when someone calls THAT device.

thanks

On the phone, Settings > Phone > Calls on Other Devices -- off.

same for me. I disabled call on other devices. and disabled iphone calling on facetime. doesn't matter, my laptop still rings when someone calls my phone. and the stupid thing is my laptop still rings when I put my phone into silent mode (using the switch on the side of my phone). drives me nuts. imagine when you are in a very quite library and you did silent your phone but your laptop starts ringing like crazy. to make it worse, there's nothing you can do on your laptop to stop the ring. the laptop just rings without any UI element that lets you stop it.
