Cracking sound coming from MacBook pro 2016 (15 inch touchbar)

Since I got the computer less than a month ago, I have been hearing cracking/popping sounds (sounds similar to the track pad click, but louder) coming from the body (I can't tell exactly where). It is not a software/speaker issue, bacause it happens when the computer is off too. I have no idea if these two problems are related, but it seems that temperatures have gotten hotter, around 5-10C since I purchased it. (especially using chrome and editing in fcp). I do my best to keep the computer cool, limiting intensive tasks like rendering and games to about 60-65C.

Ok, this is weird but ill try to brainstorm....

  • try to use use safari (works better with touchbar)
  • try to boot in safe mode: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262
  • contact apple to see if it is a hardware failure or something... don't be soft on them.. you paid more than $2500 on that machine, you want it to be perfect....

so if this helped please rate this as useful..

good luck
