How to mute camera sound in silent mode on iPhone 5S?

Hi folks,

i am in Germany but still, when I switched on silent mode, the camera sound is not muted as well. With my previous iPhone 5 camre sound was muted, but with current iPhone 5S is not working.

Could you help me with that?

Hi

To adjust the volume of the camera shutter sound:

Use the Ringer and Alerts settings in Settings > Sounds.
Or mute the sound using the Ring/Silent switch.

For iPhone models sold in some countries, muting is disabled - in which case there is no way to mute the shutter sound.
