convert handwriting to text using OneNote
I am using an iPad Pro and OneNote. When I use the lasso around handwriting there is no option to "convert to text'. What am i missing?

Where is Apple in all this? They need to pressure Microsoft for parity on the Apple platforms!!! Very frustrating!
How to convert handwritten notes to text:
Nor apparently can you do this on MacBook. If it was just the ipad, I could live with it, but I've just written several pages of notes and apparently can't convert it to text on OneNote for Mac at all; the text is apparently searchable but OneNote does not recognize many words. I have a pretty clear handwriting and never have problems with text recognition in, e.g. Notes Plus, except when I used non-standard characters or switch between languages. Looks I will have retype the notes and use Notes Plus exclusively for note-taking & then copy the OCR'd text into OneNote which I still like for organization.
I called Apple and the iPad Pro can not do this function of one Note.
Thanks but there is no "Ink to text" icon or option displayed on the screen.
Could it be that Microsoft hasn't enabled this function yet. Or possibly can't figure it out?
