I changed my passcode to 6 digits

I was prompted to change my passcode to a 6 digit code and I did. Was this correct? I'm worried now in case it's a bug. I just didn't eve think to question it I just did it.

Yes, 6 digits are more secure than 4.

I'm using it myself.

Thank you very much. I was just worried in case it was a bug.As my husband had iPhone to and was never asked to change passcode..
