How to control HomeKit from different time zones?

If I am traveling from one time zone to another (for instance my home is in New Jersey, but I am traveling to California). I have set up time for instance to start with sunrise. However, the sunrise time obviously has 3 hours difference. When I am in California and my phone automatically changes the time zone to that area, will my automation now switch to Pacific time? How can I keep in EST? Did you guys had similar experience? What should I do?

Thank you.

Actually, I think I have come up with my own answer.

I created some automations based on time, than went in and manually changed the time zone on my phone from Mountain time to Newfoundland time. When I went back to look at the automations the times had changed proportionally to the time zone change. So a automation that I had set to 10pm (in Mountain time) had now changed to happen at 1:30am.

What I conclude by this is that my phone is still triggering the automation, rather than my Apple TV. But it is compensating for the time zone change, so that the automation still happens at the correct time in the time zone my house is in.

My only question is what happens to automations that I base off sunrise and sunset. I can only assume that Home kit is smart enough to adjust for this as well. I will test this tomorrow at sunset.
