watch won't restart and screens go black

after 2-3 seconds any option screen goes away

i can't restart the watch -- the option doesn't respond to touch and goes away after 2-3 seconds

i can't change the time of a previously set alarm -- same problem as above

2 days ago the watch "locked up" and it took 10 minutes on the charger to restart .. when it did restart i had 20% power left

any ideas or recommendations?

Hi

It may help to restart your Apple Watch:

Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider.
Drag the slider (rather than tapping on it) to turn it off.
After your watch turns off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.
