App store updates still has old email address.

I changed the email and password for my apple ID. I changed it in iTunes as well. However, when I try to update apps in the App store, the old email address still comes up. How do I change that to the new email address?

See the following from What to do after you change your Apple ID email address or password - Apple Support

Apple Online Store

Update your Apple ID and password on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, and PC.

iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store.

  • If you're signed out, enter your updated Apple ID and password.
  • If you're signed in with your previous Apple ID, tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out. Then enter your updated Apple ID and password.

Mac with OS X Mountain Lion or later, or Windows PC

  1. Go to theApple Online Store.
  2. Click User uploaded file, then click View Account.
  3. In the Account Settings section, click "Update your Apple ID email address and password."
  4. Enter your updated Apple ID and password.

Howdy FoxFifth! Thanks for the prompt reply. As far as I know, I have followed the procedure you outlined. When I look under Settings > iTunes & App Store it shows my new email address. I changed the email on my Apple ID a few weeks ago, and everything else has been working fine. I recently noticed my updates were not processing so I tried to manually update them. That is were it asked me to sign in with the old email. The actual message is "Sign into the iTunes Store. Enter the password for the Apple ID - " and that is where my old email address is. I tried using the new password, but that did not work. I have signed out and signed back in with the new apple ID on both iTunes and the App Store, and powered the iPad off after doing that. When I power back on and look at the bottom of the iTunes store and the App Store, they both show the new apple ID email address, but I still get the same message about signing into the iTunes store with the old Apple ID and email address.

Any ideas?
