Unable to install ITunes on Windows 10

Hi there,
I recently brought a refurbished laptop with Windows 10 installed. All Windows updates have been installed and I have the latest version of ITunes
, yet it doesn't install properly. I get the error 2 message, and I have tried numerous solutions: repairing; uninstalling and deleting program files (and recycle bin) then reinstalling; extracting the setup file and running the missing component by itself; running all the components one at a time...nothing works.
When I run the original setup file, whilst it says ITunes has been successfully installed, I notice that none of the other components have been installed with it (i.e. no Bonjour, no Apple Mobile Device Support, no Apple Application Support and no Apple Software Update). I am getting extremely fed up. All the articles and solutions I've read seem to go no further than 2015. Am I the only one that is still having this issue???
Any help greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your reply, javaliga. Unfortunately I'm still having problems.

So using turingtest2's tips I uninstalled all the components (only iTunes to uninstall and no folders found), downloaded the iTunes setup files again and with my anti-virus software disabled I installed ITunes. I got these error codes:

ITunesHelper:

Apple Application Support not found.

Apple application Support is required to run iTunesHelper. Please uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again.

Error 2

iTunes:

Apple Application Support not found.

Apple application Support is required to run iTunesHelper. Please uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again.

Error 2 (Windows error 2)

So I then extract the setup file and run the Apple Application Support 64 file on its own and repair iTunes.

iTunes now loads and I manage to sync to my account. However when I plug my phone into the laptop, I get this error message:

ITunes:

This iPhone cannot be used as the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer again

Sorry I hit reply too quickly...

Run the iTunes installer to uninstalled iTunes, then install iTunes again.

I try rebooting my computer. I fear if I uninstall at this point I'll have to start from scratch again (I believe I've done this before...). It displays the same message when I connect my iPhone to the laptop. I then uninstall ITunes and reinstall. I still get the same message.

Researching on the internet, some suggest installing the Apple Mobile Device Support 6464 file as the iPhone isn't syncing with the software. I do this but then iTunes freezes on me not long after I open up the app. I have to stop the app via Task Manager.

Any ideas?

I have AVG installed. I removed iTunes completely, restarted the computer, disabled AVG and disconnected from the internet. I ran the setup file as administrator and also repaired as administrator when, unfortunately, the same error messages came up. It still freezes after I've installed iTunes, Apple Application Support64 and Apple Mobile Device Support64.
