does a full backup include all apps?

Does a full backup of iphone on windows itunes include all apps? Should all my apps appear in the left box on the 'Apps' page in itunes?

Can I use 'Restore' to put apps and data on to a new iphone

My phone has an audio fault, it may not be repairable as it's a 5S, I am concerned about losing apps and data

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.3.5

This is a user to user support forum. I cannot change your preferences for you, but I can tell you what to do to fix it yourself.

Click on this link to the iTunes for Windows community. Near the top right click the grey button that reads Following so that it changes to Follow and/or open your user preferences page, turn off Content I'm following, then scroll down and hit Save.

Sort of. Apps are no longer transferred from devices back into the library, but a device backup will include the private data of each app and a reference to it so that it can be restored from either the local library or directly from the iTunes Store. Media is not included in the backup, so if there is media on your device which isn't in your library see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. See Backup your iTunes for Windows library with SyncToy to make sure your library is properly backed up also.
