Bluetooth Speaker Issues - iOS 10.2.1

I recently purchased a bluetooth speaker and I noticed that whenever I am playing music and try to watch a video on Facebook or Twitter, the audio of the video will play for a split second then stop completely. It will then only play if I change the audio to the iPhone speaker. This speaker then broke and purchased a different one but the same issue still occurs. However with my older bluetooth speaker, this is not the case and the audio on a video plays fine.
