in app purchase did not go through but i was billed

Not sure where to post this questions, but I purchased some in-app points for my daughters game and it wouldn't go through. We tried 4 different times and the points were never credited. I received my statement today and I was charged the 4 times $1.99 but no points. What do I do? I never had don't this before and Im not really familiar. She had to ask permission and once I granted it, it would say failed on her phone but it processed payment on mine.

Any help is appreciated.

Restore your in-app purchases

You might need to restore purchases when:

  • You remove and reinstall an app.
  • You install a purchased app on another device using the same Apple ID.

Some in-app purchases, such as game currency or hints, are consumable, which means that they run out as you use them. You can only restore non-consumable purchases. Learn about different types of in-app purchases.

To restore a non-consumable purchase, open the app that you made the purchase in and look for an option to restore. You might find it in one of these places:

  • The app's main menu.
  • The app's Settings or Options menus.
  • The app's in-app store.

Not all apps have a restore option. If you don't see one, follow the steps to contact the app developer.

If you were charged for the purchase and still can't restore, contact the app developer for support.

If you try to restore and nothing happens or you get an error

  1. Make sure that you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to make the purchase. Sign in with a different Apple ID if you need to.
  2. Check the restrictions on your device to make sure in-app purchases are allowed.
  3. Check your purchase history in iTunes on your computer to make sure that you were charged for the purchase.
  4. Restart your device.
