Pages 4 not supported by Sierra update to 12.1.2

I actually like to use Page 4.03....on one of my macs I updated to Sierra 12.1.2 and now it won't work...says it's not supported. It worked find under 12.1...Anything I can do to use Pages 4.0?

Technically, Pages '09 v4.0.3 should have been updated to v4.1, or v4.3 for compatibility with Mavericks onward. Peter and I both have Pages '09 v4.3 installed on macOS Sierra 10.12.2, and you can too if you download and install the iWork 9.3 updater.


Of course, the proviso is that your iWork '09 DVD installation is not corrupted, or missing dependent components that were installed in System areas. The updater does not reinstall those frameworks.
