my MacBook Pro is stuck deleting a User Account. How do I fix it?

So I cannot close my settings window (User & Groups) I went to delete an other user ( Not the Admin acct) and its just stuck in the deleting process. When I try to close the window I get this message: "System Preferences is busy and can't be closed. Users & Groups preferences is removing a user account and saving the Home directory to a disk image." I have no idea what that means I restarting the MacBook doesn't change anything..... please help if anyone knows how to fix this. thank you for your time

You have gone to system preferences & selected a account , clicked on minus sign & chosen save the home folder in a disk image .

User uploaded file

This will archive all the user’s documents and information so the user can be restored later if needed. The disk image is saved in /Users/Deleted Users/. it will take time to restore the contents as data size may be large , let it be completed .

An article for it : OS X Yosemite: Delete a user
