Blurry images/video in iMovie 10.1.4

Hi,

I am using iMovie 10.1.4 (System: OS X El Capitan, Version 10.11.6). I have several iMovie projects in which the images and video are clear and fine quality when viewed in the small preview screen (upper right of iMovie). However when I preview them in full-screen, the images and video are blurry. Is there any way to make them good, clear quality when viewed in full-screen? I want to make sure they will look clear when uploaded to YouTube. I shot the video on an iPhone 6S Plus.

I have tried the "Fix Rolling Shutter" option, but there was no change. I also read to use the "Ken Burns Effect" for images to make them less blurry, but I want my images to be set and not move/zoom in. It seems when you use this effect the images move. Maybe I'm not using it correctly?

Thanks so much for any help!

Share your movie to file and play it full screen in Quicktime. Is it still blurry? What are the specs on your video clips? Is the blurriness like when a camera is out of focus or more like a pixelation blur?

I tried uploading it to YouTube, and it is much clearer! I also tried downloading it as a file and playing it in Quicktime, which looks much better too. It was more of a pixelation blur for the video. The photo is still slightly blurry in Quicktime and on YouTube (pixelation blur) but still looks better than when viewed large in iMovie. Do you have any suggestions for how to fix that? Thanks for the advice!
