The thing is I would but the computer doesn't power the keyboard when I plug it in or it's just not being detected or something ( back when it still booted I know I can plug in the USB keyboard and it would work ) and the keyboard on the MacBook itself is messed up and the only button that works is the power button. I already tried holding the keys on the MacBook itself and that doesn't work either since the MacBook's keyboard is messed up

So I was installing boot camp onto my MacBook air (2011) and got stuck on this no bootable device screen and even restart in the MacBook gives me a white screen then goes back to the black no bootable device screen. I read online that you're supposed to hold down the option key when turning on to get into your boot menu and then you can go from there except my keyboard doesn't work and plugging in a keyboard via USB still doesn't work when holding the option key on the external keyboard.
