Error 9006 for iPhone AND iPod

Hello

I’ve been having trouble with my iPhone updating to IOS 10.2 after I foolishly rebooted it during an update and seemingly corrupted it. I don’t want to restore it as I have 3000 holiday photos on my phone that are not backed up. After continuously trying to ‘update’ the iPhone through iTunes (iPhone is in DFU mode, will not turn on) the download would keep stopping due to the error ‘9006’. I thought this was because the iPhone was corrupt, however, I’ve now tried updating my iPod touch 5 to iOS 9.3.5 (latest version for this device) and the same error came up! 9006! I’ve done everything, I’ve checked security settings, deleted ISPW files from the iTunes downloads folder, turned off and even deleted antivirus, tried a different computer, everything! It cannot be the internet as it’s working perfectly fine. I am totally stuck… I need to update my iPhone over iTunes now to get it to start again and get my data back.

PLEASE help. I’ve already spent hours scouring the web on error 9006 and nothing so far has helped.

Thanks.

iPhone SE, iOS 10.1.1

Not quite. Same issue. I don't want to restore the iPhone at all costs. My iPod, which is fine and not corrupt, will also not update to the latest iOS due to error 9006. It's just this 9006 that is causing the issue for both of them devices. I need a way to solve this 9006 error and hours upon hours of googling and calls to Apple has got me no where....

Would be nice but unfortunately not... I've always totally turned off iCloud, I don't like it and didn't want my content shared with other devices around the house and with other families iphones (don't want them laughing at my selfies) so there is no iCloud backup, hence why I need to update the iPhone without the 9006 error and not restore it

Still can't work it out. It still also gives the error for my iPod which is currently running fine....
