Is there a way,I could install App Store apps directly on an external hard-drive? I would like to do this with Xcode ,as it says that I don't have enough space on my Mac's drive, and I wouldn't was to move all my stuff on the external one and then back again. Basically I would want to use my external hard-drive as the main storage target for only that app,when installing Thank you in advance!
Well Xcode needs to run from your boot drive so you will have to open up more free space by moving whatever you can to the external. another 4GB at least. Even then it seems you would be tight for space.
