Magic Mouse 2 & Adobe Illustrator
Does the magic mouse 2 work with Adobe Illustrator or just web pages? I cannot seem to use the mouse as a "pointer or pen tool" while I'm in Illustrator.

Sorry, but for some reason I missed your post. Maybe because usually I have nothing to do with Adobe, so I cannot help there ... but I think you should approach Adobe themselves as they may not have updated the programs you are using.
As far as reflections are concerned, it is true that in some circumstances the glass surface reflects and confuses the laser. Of course, some people (I'm one) are very conscious of visual appeal and I can quite understand the wish not to disturb it. So what I did to provide a good working surface was to buy about two square metres of fine black artists felt (it's about twice the thickness of a table cloth). Cut it down to a suitable size (I suggest 50cmx40cm). It is smooth and non reflective and mine has lasted a good two years so far. Cost ... pennies.
