Mac Pro 2008 SATA optical drive not working in Windows 7 Boot Camp

I have a Mac Pro Early 2008 (3,1) and I installed a second optical drive to the SATA port on the logic board. Both drives are detected in OS X, however, the SATA optical drive is not detected in Windows 7.

I've attempted some of the recommended fixes I've found through my searches -- editing the registry values for iaStorV and msahci, using the workaround to install Boot Camp 5.1 support software -- but the problem still has not been resolved. I'm fairly capable as long as I have detailed instructions, so if anyone has a solution, I'd be willing to try it!

Can you run a SMC and NVRAM Reset and in Device Manager scan for hardware changes?

Yes, the optical drive connected via IDE (SuperDrive that came with the Mac Pro) appears in Windows. However, I need the SATA optical drive to appear because the SuperDrive has been having mechanical issues and is no longer reliable (mainly why I'm trying to get the SATA optical drive to work in Windows 7).

"Apple Inc. Apple ODD (05/17/2010 3.1.0.0)" is listed in Programs and Features, has been installed since before I added the SATA optical drive. OS X does detect both drives and I've used both in OS X, as well.

If OS X detects both Optical drives, and you reboot, do you see any Optical drive in Windows?

Can you check Program and Features and check for Apple ODD installer? Does OS X detect both drives?

From the OS X Terminal, with both connected, can you post the output of

drutil info

Performed both the SMC and NVRAM resets and nothing new was revealed in Device Manager (SATA optical drive still not found in Windows).

Is it possible to disconnect the IDE Optical drive and test? From the OS X side, can you post a screen shot of System Report -> SATA with all the SATA controllers expanded?
