Factory Resetting a (previously) school owned iPad

I factory reset my iPad 4 to sell online, it was previously a school iPad (but I graduated 2 years ago). After resetting it I tried to start it back up when it told me that I had to download the configuration from my old high school network. The problem is that 1: I don't want whoever I'm selling it to to have to deal with the school still being able to monitor them on the iPad and 2: I now live 400 miles away from that school and can't just drive down and have them fix this. I really hope there are some suggestions because otherwise the iPad is just a useless brick. I believe what it it's called is a DEP?

OK. I would recommend trying to get it into recovery mode, which might allow you to restore it using iTunes:

1) Turn your iPad off.

2) Press and hold down the home button.

3) Plug your iPad into your computer whilst iTunes is running.

4) Release the home button when you see the iTunes logo and a charging icon on your iPad screen.

5) Your iTunes window should have a button that says Restore Device. Click on that, and you are pretty much done!

Hope this helps.
