Still shot in Browser, edited in Photoshop, doesn’t update in FCPX

In FCP 7, if I had a still shot (a photo) in the Timeline, and then spotted a flaw in it, I could Command-click on the clip and choose Open In Editor. The picture would then open in Photoshop, I would fix the flaw, save the changes and close Photoshop, and the photo would immediately be updated in FCP 7’s Timeline to show the changes.

I can’t do this in FCPX 10.3.2, or else I don't know how to do it. The nearest I can come to it is to Command-click on the photo in the FCPX Browser and choose “Reveal in Finder.” Then in that window I can double-click the picture into Photoshop, make changes, save them, and close the file in Photoshop. But when I go back into FCPX, the photo is not updated to show the new version, either in the Browser or the Timeline. The old version of the picture is still there, before I made changes to it. I did discover that if I quit FCPX and relaunch it, then the the new version of the picture does appear in the Browser and Timeline.

But how can I make FCPX accept the changes to the picture immediately, without having to close and reopen the program?

Thanks for any help!
