Apple Mail - Editing a Hyperlink

Hi All. How can I rename a hyperlink URL in an email? I am sending a link to an article to a client Rather than having the long coded URL address I just want to rename it RE Article. I cannot find a real answer. Thank you in advance. John

Select the word or phrase that you wish to apply a web address too, and then right/control-click to bring up the contextual menu, where you will find Link : Add Link…

This one's not hard. Copy the URL, then go to Mail and select the text you want to turn into the URL. Press ⌘-K and paste the URL in that box and that's it! The text you selected will become a clickable link to the article.

There's a way to do it from the Edit menu as well, I believe, but my Mac isn't in front of me right now … so all I can offer is the keyboard shortcut. 🙂
