Replacing Upper Case

So i'm looking for tips on affordable ways to replace the upper case on my 2015 rMBP. it's got a few dents i don't really feel like living with but not convinced it's worth paying the whole $600 or whatever it is for a brand new case with battery. so my idea is to find a good source on an uppercase that has been stripped of the battery and trackpad, and have my local apple store install it (they said they'd be able to no problem). seems like the most cost effective way to get an upper case replacement for this particular machine. any advice on where to buy said uppercase? thanks 🙂

I have never dealt with that company. With Amazon, you are dealing with a company that is to a large degree consumer friendly. Does Aliexpress have similar policies?

Counterfeit Apple batteries and chargers have proven on many occasions to be dangerous and damage Macs. Now if this part fits, perhaps that is all that is required. Generally, I am willing to pay a little more for items that I have confidence in the item itself and the vendor.

There are winners when playing Russian roulette, but not always. You have a tough choice, but I would be inclined to avoid it. Ebay can be risky, but I would shop there first.

Ciao.
