my iphone 6 won't charge

Follow the steps here, including checking the charging port for any lint or other debris:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't charge - Apple Support

Ensure that you are using either a genuine Apple cable or an Apple-certified / MFi cable. If you are already doing so, try instead using another such cable. Apple also recommends using genuine Apple USB Power Adapters.

If necessary, contact Apple Support, make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider for assistance.

Are you using an original Apple cable and adapter? Are you plugging the adapter into the wall? Have you checked to make sure that charging port is cleaned of any pocket lint or other debris? Check under a strong light with a magnifier. Had you tried a different cable and adapter?
