Safari cannot be removed from my dock

Hello!

I "quit" the Safari application and it disappears from my dock but as soon as I restart or shut down it is back again.

I tried the following:

1. Dragging the icon out of the dock until it says REMOVE.

2. Right Clicked and selected QUIT.

3. Checked if Open at StartUp was on (it's not).

The right click menu does not show the Remove from Dock option.

Whenever I turn the computer back on the Safari Icon appears to be working (With the little grey dot underneath it).

I don't use Safari and I guess it's just a quirk of mine, but I can't stand having the icon there if I don't need it.

Hope you can help.

If you don't want the safari icon to be permanent in the dock , uncheck ( how to uncheck click once on keep in dock the right tick will go away ) and tick the " NONE " option only .

When you restart the machine safari icon will not be seen .

it means only " NONE " must be have right tick .
