Keep touch-bar from showing on screen?

When i touch the touch bar for a second, it will appear on the screen of my 2016 macbook pro 15". I have looked online but can't find what controls this. Is there a way to keep the touch bar from appearing on the screen?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12.2)

Hey there,

There's a check box in System Preferences that turns this feature on and off. Head over to System Preferences/Accessibility/Zoom/Enable Touch Bar Zoom

Turn off the check box and you're set to go!

Onward!
