calendars missing from list

My calendars have mysteriously disappeared from the list view in Calendar (see screenshot). Thoughts/tips anyone?

Calendar version 9.0 (2155.15)

macOS version 10.12.2 (16C67)

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

Take cursor on top menu bar click on view > show calendars list

The side-bar is already open (see attached image). Unfortunately it's empty.

UPDATE: a 2nd reboot solved the issue. I guess it was a glitch. Case closed.
