Put Spotlight in Dock?

I want to put Spotlight in my Dock. I don't like it in the menu bar. It's too small.

If you want to drag and drop spotlight icon from menu bar to dock it is impossible , but if you want to open spotlight by pressing command + spacebar , yes you can drag and drop spotlight window to the dock or anywhere using as Mac OS Sierra .

I don't think this is possible. But you can easily open spotlight by using CMD + Space keyboard shortcut. Does that help?

You will be better off with the keyboard shortcut as already suggested. Although you can drag & drop the Spotlight application to the Dock — it will ignore all attempts to launch it from there.
