Hi - just booting up this Gen 4 from prev Gen 3 - expected to find beaucoup
apps already displayed or at least in Main menu where I could elect to display
them but no - only Movies, TV Shows, App Store, Photos, Music, Podcasts,
Computers and Settings appear. Where is Broadcast Radio, Bloomberg, WSJ,
Netflix, et al to be found? Thanks, Tom

Unlike the 3rd Generation Apple TV, the 4th Generation now has an App Store.
That means third party Apps (those not from Apple) are no longer pre-installed and must be obtained from the App store, via the App Store App.
Yes I do have a "not on this tv" and Netflix is indeed in there.
There's also Recent Purchases - which does not have my just
purchased Netflix but does have a few from my tv 3, but
not many of them. When I nav out of App Store and return to
what appears to be the main page there's no change from
when first I booted up.

Ok, to start I found and installed Netflix but it doesn't appear on what
seems to be the main screen along with the aforementioned items.

Installed apps should appear in the same page as the stock apps. Did you try scrolling down.
Netflix does not appear on the page with Computers, Podcasts, etc. but
I can find it in App Store/Purchased. Yes, I tried scrolling down.
Could you have deleted it already it, do you have a not on this Apple TV section in the App Store purchased section.
Within the App Store if something has been installed it will show a link to open the app, purchased apps not on the device will show a cloud icon. What happens when you attempt to download?
Within the App Store no apps have icons of any kind - but I am impressed
by the icon artwork here - just no links or cloud icons of any kind.
