Activation Lock - Won't let me unlock iPad

My ipad will not let me unlock it. I put in my passcode then it says "Activation Lock" asked for my apple ID and password. After putting them in it says: Incorrect apple ID (my email) cannot be used to unlock this iPad.

So I logged into iCloud successfully but my device is not listed under "my devices". So I can't reset it or remove it from there.
Is there any other way to get into my iPad or reset/erase it to start fresh???

Activation Lock Problem

It requires the Apple ID and password of the original owner. If you don't have it and cannot get it, then the device is useless to you. Return it for a refund, if you can, or take it to an Apple store for an exchange provided they will help you.
