How do I fix the Apple Mail error that says "The message '____' could not be moved to the mailbox 'Exchange'."

For the last year, I have had no problems with Apple Mail or Godaddy. I am using Godaddy's Office Exchange 365 for my email. Ever since I upgraded to Sierra, I have been receiving errors when I delete an email or I try to move an email to a folder, it gives me the message that "The message '[subject of email]' could not be moved to the mailbox 'Exchange'." In smaller letters beneath it, it says, "The specified object was not found in the store., The process failed to get the correct properties."

This occurs on my iMac and MacBook Pro.

I'm not sure if this is related, but I also see new folders called "Recovered Messages (Exchange)" and an "Archive 1" folder, which I have never seen before until recently.

FYI, I just installed the most recent update to 10.12.3, and it's still giving me the same problem.

If there is anyone who is knowledgeable about this issue, I would greatly appreciate your kind help. I have contacted both Apple and Godaddy, and neither of them gave me a salutation that fixed my problem. We have tried deleting keychains and deleting/readding the exchange account (multiple times) without success.
