What price to sell 2011 MacBook Pro at?

I currently own 2 MacBook pro's that I am looking to sell on eBay. However, prices for used MacBooks vary greatly! Can someone please let me know a FAIR price for each of the MacBook Pro's below? Any help would be great!

EARLY 2011 15" MACBOOK PRO

(MOTHERBOARD WENT OUT)

  • Core i7
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Storage: 500 GB (5400 RPM)
  • Optical: 8X DL "SuperDrive"

Should I sell for parts or should I try and get this fixed myself and sell it once it's working?

MID 2010 13" MACBOOK PRO

(WORKS GREAT)

  • 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Storage: 250 GB (5400 RPM)
  • Optical: 8X DL "SuperDrive"
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB

MacBook Pro, iOS 10.2

The 2011 15" in good working order would sell for about $500.

You don't say what speed it is, but a used 2.0GHz (base model) logic board would cost $330 at Powerbookmedic.com (but they're out of stock) and a refurbished one would cost $400 (in stock): http://www.powerbookmedic.com/MacBook-Pro-15-Unibody-20GHz-Core-i7-Logic-Board-p -20995.html

To get an idea of what parts might be sellable on eBay or elsewhere, see http://www.powerbookmedic.com/MacBook-Pro-154-20GHz-Core-i7-m-55.html

Given the high price of the board, and the possibility that it won't run normally afterwards, I don't think it's worth the investment of money and time in repairing it. If you can sell it for $100 or sell $100 worth of parts from it, you're coming out even; if you sell for more than that, you're coming out ahead.
