Macbook pro (2016) Screen glitch problem

Hi everyone,

I have recently bought a macbook pro 13' with touch bar and 16gb of ram and it was delivered yesterday. However, I have experienced a screen glitch problem similar to what was mention by many apple user around the world regarding new macbook pros (macos version is 10.12.2 sierra).

When I received the glitch, file vault encryption was on. However, based on the comments of the users who experienced similar problems, I turned off the encryption. I am currently observing my computer.

Is there any solution to the problem that I described?

Update to macOS Sierra 10.12.3. There are specific fixes in it for late-2016 MBP graphics issues. Assess what issues (if any) remain after the operating system is updated.

There are dedicated notebook support communities here, where you will have a much wider audience to help you than a Pages for Mac word processing community. Additionally, if the issues are specifically operating system related, then there is the macOS Sierra community in the larger Mac OS & System Software community.

This is the Pages for Mac forum.

If you have just received a faulty computer take it up with Apple or whoever sold it to you.

My advice is return it and ask for your money back. Most countries allow several days for refund and have consumer laws regarding "Fit for purpose". Clearly a computer that is faulty on delivery is not.

Hi guys, I have the same exact issue. When I turn on my laptop after sleep, sometimes the screen goes black and won't turn on. I have to do a full rest for the screen to come back on. The touch bar still works and the screen will brighten but there is no log in page. Second, out of the blue the screen starts flashing pink and the the entire screen is covered and pixelated. I returned my laptop to Apple, waited a month to get a new one and after two weeks, this one is acting up now too. I am on to a second NEW Mac book pro and still having the same issues. HELPPPPPP. I have a 3.3 GHZ, i7, 256 GB HD, 16 GB RAM.
