Add own training to workout app on Apple Watch

Hey guys!

Is there a way to add my own training in the training app on my Apple Watch?

Like: Skitouring? At the moment, I can only choose "Walking" for Skitouring.

Thank you!

Hi

It is not possible add custom activity types to the Workout app on Apple Watch.

However, the app already offers the option to label many other activities that do not fall under the main activity types.

When recording workouts via the Workout app, choose the activity type that most closely matches your workout. This enables your watch to use the most appropriate sensors and data sources when estimating results, including using tailored calorie calculations for some activities.

To record workouts that are neither included within the main list nor sufficiently similar, record your workouts under "Other".

This credits one minute of Exercise for each full minute of the workout and Active calories at a rate equivalent to a brisk walk or based on data from the heart rate sensor, whichever is higher.

When ending an "Other" workout, you can tap on the menu option for "Name Workout" and select from various other activity types - including Snow Sports (but not, specifically, skitouring) .
