I recommend going to a computer and doing the following:

  1. https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid this site will ask for your AppleID and will email you a link to reset your password.
  2. If that doesn't work, then your AppleID is probably different from your email, for example your email can be Leyshon88@gmail.com and your AppleID can be Leyshon88@iCloud.com, so in this scenario, you need to find out your AppleID, so go to the following address to recover that: https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid#!&section=appleid

If you run into problems with this procedure, then please provide us with screenshots of the issue, so we can understand the problem your're having so we can better assist you.

You can also visit an Apple store to have Apple service personnel assist you.

Activation Lock Problem

It requires the Apple ID and password of the previous owner. If you don't have it and cannot get it, then the device is useless to you. Return it for a refund, if you can, or take it to an Apple store for an exchange provided they will help you.

If you have receipt proof of purchase take your iPhone to an Apple store or other Apple authorized service location, they might be able to help. But they won't be able to without proof of purchase.

How to unlock a disabled Apple ID: What to do if your account is locked for security reasons

1. Open Safari on a Mac or PC.

2. Visit Apple's iForgot site: https://iforgot.apple.com/appleid

3. Enter the First Name, Last Name and Current Email Address fields.

4. Click Next.

5. If you have two-step verification enabled you'll need to enter the Recovery Key. If you don't have two-step enabled skip to the next step. You should have the recovery key printed out and stored safely somewhere. Enter the number and click Next. Select the phone number used for two-step verification and click Continue. Enter the Verification Code and press Continue.

6. Enter the New Password and Confirm Password fields.

7. Click Reset Password.

8. You will now have reset the password for your Apple ID.

This also unlocks the account and enables you to start using it again. You will need to use the new password with all your accounts on your iPhone and Mac.

So, as far as you know, you have not forgotten the Apple ID, correct? Is it possible that you have simply forgotten the passcode? Or are you saying that you know the passcode but not the ID? Need to know which one you believe is correct so we can go from there.

Sorry - my bad. I see that you know the Apple ID, but it is telling you that the Passcode is incorrect. Are you able to go to iCloud.com on a computer, and sign in that Apple ID with the password that you believe is the correct one? If so, can you see the device in question listed in the Find My iPhone App?

Is it online? If it is, you can click on Erase to erase the device, type in the same password you just used to sign into iCloud.com, and it will erase the device. Once the device is erased, remove it from the iCloud account, then go to the iPhone and set it up. If you have a backup you can use to set it up with, then use that once you get to the point in the setup where it is asking you whether you want to set it up as new or from a backup.

Cheers,

GB
