how do I get ink of and Apple Watch strap

The other day I got ink all over my Apple Watch strap mostly in the short one as a pen exploaded is hard to photo graph but it's a lot mor noticeable than it looks I've tried using a tooth brush with warm soapy water tried using the method Apple suggests but nope it won't come off
