I have a Ipad 2.2 iOS 9.3.5
i have in my settings HomeKit
when I click it, it has a on off Authorize remote access with is on
but I do not have the HomeKit icon anywhere and can not
download it from App Store Why is this ?

sylvain 118 - as I understand it your iPad and version of iOS are too old to run the Home app. I am in the same situation. It is not available from the APP store. I would suggest using your iPhone as I do and it's working fine.

I have iPad 3 with iOs 9.3.5 and I have Homekit enable option in the settings.
Yes I have also the option but not the icon
but I will use Hue apps instead of Apple HomeKit !
