Hello everyone. It would be possible for somebody to explain to me why is it that whenever I open the launchpad the dock continues to appear?
I have the dock on the left side of the screen but it has never happened to me until now.
Some help?

That is just how it is programmed to act. Activating Launchpad shows the Dock.
I don't see what the big deal is, anyway, but if you want that behavior changed, let Apple know:
Dock is by default , you can hide it by going to system preferences > Dock > Automatically hide & show the dock , but when you launch the Launch pad it will hundred percent appear .
Don't try to use some terminal commands to kill it .
If you have some suggestions you can give a feedback to Apple.
Check System Preferences > Dock > Automatically hide and show the dock.
But if I do this, the dock is also hidden from the desktop. And I did not want that, sir.
Edit: I did this now and it is hidden when I open the launchpad it reappears
Try typing [command - option - D] to see if that helps.
